Persyk is a lightweight, privacy-focused desktop menu bar application for recording voice memos and transcribing them using AI (OpenAI Whisper API).

Getting Started

  1. Open the latest GitHub release and download the Apple Silicon (ARM64) .dmg asset—not the source code archives.
  2. Open the DMG and drag Persyk into Applications.
  3. Launch Persyk, allow microphone access, and configure your transcription provider.

Installers currently support Apple Silicon Macs (M1 and newer), not Intel Macs. No developer tools or compilation are needed.

Persyk’s updater uses GitHub Releases for subsequent updates. You can also browse all releases and release notes.
